Sri Sri Ram Thakur Ashram land at Haridwar was registered on 1st May, 2013. The Ashram was inaugurated on 07th December, 2014. Since then, Nitya Puja (worship), Annual Festival, other festivals such as Akshay Tritiya, Guru Purnima etc are being performed. Moreover, whenever respected Mohanta Moharaj comes to this Ashram to imply Holy ‘Srinam/Dikshya, huge gathering of disciples/devotees from different parts of the country is attracted. In this connection, bhajan, Mahanam Sankirtan, holy religious prabachan from Moharajjee and from other saints along with bhandaras are being celebrated for a few days ie till Moharajjee stays at Ashram premises. All these are being performed and continued through the guidelines and doctrines laid by Sri Sri Ram Thakur. We are determined to fulfil the under mentioned salient features of our Society/Ashram so as to get the facility by obtaining the approval/sanction under 80G of the Income Tax Act as categorised under Charitable/Religious Society. Brief description of the Ashram’s activities is as under:-
(a) Every year during Annual Festival (Establishment Day on 07th December) from 06 Dec to 08 Dec, many disciples/devotees from different parts of the country ie from Assam, Tripura, West Bengal, Moharashtra, Delhi NCR etc attend the Utsav. Spiritual cultural programme with bhajan and Akhand Mohanam Sankirtan is being performed. Bhandaras are being arranged. In this Bhandaras, many devotees and poor people (more than thousands of people) attend daily festival and take bhog prasad with full satisfaction. Moreover, many Sandhus/Saints come to attend festival and special honour with cloth and bhojan dakshina has been given to them.
(b) In Nov 2016, during marriage ceremony of a poor girl nearest to our Ashram at Haridwar, financial assistance was provided to the family of the poor girl. In this connection clothes with some money were distributed (photos enclosed). This type of assistance is one of the objectives of the Ashram i.e. to do all sorts of activities related to welfare to the poor including Bhandaras, Langar, food and cloth to poor.
(c) This Ashram will provide financial assistance to deserving persons specially the poor and handicapped persons, students, poor girls’ at the time of marriage, poor peoples’ medical assistance etc. as and when it is required according to capacity of the Ashram Fund.
(d) Our aim is to establish, run and continue homes such as Orphanage homes, Old Age homes, home for disabled/neglected, subject to large amount of Fund capacity so that Orphanage homes can be constructed.
(e) Our aim is also to organised all sorts of relief work in time of flood, drought, earthquake, epidemic or in situation of migrant of people for any reason behind. (f) Our aim is to establish, promote and run temples, Ashrams, charitable dispensaries etc anywhere in the name of Sri Sri Ram Thakur.
