Vedvani – 37 (Part – I) {Translated & elaborated by PK Bhowmik (Chandan)}

“Samsarmayamoy, kewal kartritwabhi-manai mugdha. Ahong praner briddhie maya chakra bhramashilata labh kare.  Sukh dukh jahar jahar bhagyabashatahi labh hoy.  Shukbha ashubha ubhayai kaitab pradhan jaha haite Krishna bhakti antardhan haiya thake.  Shubha ashubha karmmai krishnbhaktir badhak hoy.  Ichha, anichha jiber adhikar nai, gun chanchalatar bibarna matra, abidyakarkhana.  Ichhamoy arthat jakhan kona ichhai thake na sai abasthay kamgandha bindumatrao brajadhame thakite pare na, aisakal ahankarer parikar dharfarani matra.”

Sri Sri Ram Thakur here says that this worldly affairs are full of hopes/desires (mayamoy) and people are charmed with their own pride (Kartritwabhiman).  Due to increase/enhance of kartritwa mind, people acquire unstable travelling of the wheel of worldly affairs.  Man/woman acquires happiness and sorrow according to his/her own luck/fate.  Both good or bad is mainly imaginary and from this Krishna bhakti disappears.  It is good and bad actively for which it creates obstacles of Krishna bhakti.  Human being has no right for willingness or unwillingness.  The quality is only the colourless of restlessness or the factory of ignorance.  When there is no willingness ie nothing willingness of a person, in that circumstances, there does not exist at all smell of ‘kam’ excitement in the Brajadham.  All these are only trembling of respiratory system of pride.  What is the indication of Sri Sri Thakur? We will have to give up pride, kartritwa, happiness, sorrow, hopes, desires etc; otherwise, we will have to fall in the unstable worldly affairs for which Krishna bhakti disappears.  There are satwah, rajah and tamah.  These are all factories of ignorance.  To acquire for going to Brajadham, we will have to give up all willingness wherein there will remain not a single excitement of ‘kam’/willingness.  Then all obstacles disappear for acquiring Krishna bhakti.

“Nija shakti baler abhab jiber swatahsiddha.  Karta haiya je kona jagya karite hoy taha shiba hin janiben.  Bhutadidwara jagya bhrasta kariya thake.  Aataeb patibrata dharma palanai jiber swatahsiddha kartabya.” Sri Sri Ram Thakur here says that lack of own power and strength is a universal truth of human being.  Whatever programme of “kriyakaram” (jagya) is to be completed is called “Shibajeeless/without Mohadeb.  The jagya is corrupted with unspiritual things ie ‘bhutpret’.  So, it is a universal duty of human being only to obey the religion of “Patibrata” ie to perform puja of God (“Swami”/”Pati”).  This is the main indication of Sri Sri Thakur again and again that the actual/param religion of human being is to obey “Swami”/”Pati” (God) only as moral duty universally.  Nothing is required in this world without this only aim of every human being.
